Además aprovechamos este viaje para renovar parte de los sistemas de control remoto, en concreto los "power switches", que son unos interruptores de la alimentación eléctrica que se puede controlar de forma remota, los usamos cuando hay problemas al reiniciar un servidor.

Los cortes comenzarán a partir de las 14:00 hs (GMT+1) del viernes 26. No está previsto que haya cortes durante la mañana del viernes. Durante la mañana del sábado haremos todas las pruebas de los controles remotos de los servidores, lo que implica breves paradas y reinicios. Esperamos que durante la tarde del sábado no sea necesario hacer ningún corte.

Como otras veces, sentimos las molestias que os causarán estos cortes, intentaremos que sean lo mas breves posibles. Pero estos trabajos periódicos son inevitables. En todo caso si en algún momento no podéis ver una web, bajar el correo o enviar un mensaje, simplemente esperad un rato, y sobre todo, no hagáis ningún cambio en la configuración de vuestros ordenadores.

Los mensajes de correo electrónico que os puedan enviar mientras estén parados los servicios no se perderán, acabarán llegando cuando pongamos todo en marcha, pues los servidores de correo de los remitente los guardarán en su cola de mensajes hasta poder entregarlos.

ENGLISH VERSION

We are going to perform maintenance work in our servers Friday 26th and Saturday 27th February. The scheduled tasks will inevitably involve intermittent interruptions in our services.

The reason is the change of our servers to another rack in the same datacenter. The ISP where we host our servers is reorganizing theirs racks to improve their cooling systems and that forces us to disassemble and reassemble our rack.

Also we will renew some of the remote control systems (two network power switches).

The interruptions of the services will start from 2:00 PM (GMT 1) on Friday 26th. No interruptions are scheduled during the Friday morning. During Saturday morning we will test all remote controls for servers, which means short stops and restarts. We hope that during the Saturday afternoon we do not need to perform any further interruptions.

We regret any inconvenience that these service interruptions will cause, and rest assure that will try our best to minimize down times.

If you suffer problems downloading your email, sending messages or accessing a website, DO NOT MAKE any changes to your computer configuration and retry later.

E-mail messages that anyone send you while the shutdown will not be lost, because the mail servers of the senders will store (the messages) until they can deliver it.
